Summer Lovin'

by Amber   Jul 5, 2005

We met when we were having fun in the sun. We were at the beach and I couldn't believe you were in reach. We started to walk and gradually started to talk. On a whim we started to swim. You told me you knew I wasn't letting you in as if it were a sin. Finally, You said I was actually being me. You called me your smurf and taught me to surf. I felt a sting when my friends told me it was probably a fling. When it hit I didn't think it would hurt a bit. I got scared but you reassured me you cared. And the look in your eyes let me know what you were telling me was not lies. You held me to your chest and it made me feel the best. Between us there is so much space but I will soon see your face. Your love I keep as I try to fall asleep.
