My nightmare

Once upon a time, I remember
I used to wish upon this dream
That maybe we could be together,
But too perfect did this seem.

Like fate, it happened,
and we were drawn
but not only a new relationship,
but a new friendship was born.

And like in this world of mine,
You and I, together
Laughing joking, smiling and crying,
Together, forever.

Until that day, that seems a blur
We weren’t alike anymore
I was crying, you made me cry
What did you lie to me for?

my eyes crying, out loud
my heart breaking in two,
should have realised in this time,
that all you think of is you.

and still i try to awake from this dream,
to find i am still asleep
but its been weeks now,
and that sleep must have been deep.

because I'm still here,
feeling the same.
wanting what i once had,
yet, still you do not care.

the girl that you cheated on,
might not be aware, but
im I'm still in love with you
while trapped in this
nightmare!
