The Abandoned

by Unforgiven Retniap doolb   Jul 5, 2005

Why was her life a mess?
What did she do what did she say?
For people to be merciless,
Each and everyday.

She felt she protruded like rain in a desert,
But school was inevitable and she knew she had to go,
Even though it was hard,
And ever so slow.

She had a mother a father too,
Divorced soon to be,
Soon she fell into depression,
Something no one else would foresee.

She was the abandoned
as people used to say,
Her new name came,
After her brother left her astray.

After the guilt inhabited her life,
I guess it was on instinct to rebel,
I guess it was lack of trust,
That made her listen never tell.

Soon she needed to be frank,
To her soul and heart,
She needed to devise a plan,
For the end not a new start.

She filled the bath,
From exhaustion and resentment she descended and submerged,
It was over as her last breath dwindled away,
Sadly she would never she the flowers bloom another day.

Wrote this for school and the teacher got mad .....lol
