About A Boy

I cried last night
For the second time that I can remember
I had watched a movie, a drama
And my body was shaken by an emotional tremor
It was about a boy who'd travelled miles
To find peace, he knew not of the kind
Love that would embrace him with a smile
When I thought of this all, and on how life had been
My tears, they came down in showers
And I felt to die, God forbid
I have never witnessed love like this before
Yet it's so far-fetched and ironic to see now
That what he searched for, was from ever with me
The joy that he has found is still my source of grief.
