A Day Of Play

Nice blue skies
The sun shining bright
My baby girl is on the rocket ship
Preparing to go down the slide
Away she goes to the marry-go-round
Oops, she tripped and fell down
Now shes up again and running
First to the monkey bars
Then to the swings
Its hard for me to keep up
I don't have that kind of energy
I'll have to wait till she winds down
To leave the playground

    Such a nice topic! Being at the park with a child can really wear you out! I remember the days when I used to take my son to the park. He would run from one thing another as fast as his little legs would take him. Good poem! ~Brooke~
