Baby Boy

by Sierra~ICE~   Jul 5, 2005

When you were first born
I held you ever so close
I never wanted to let you go
For a wonderful feeling arouse

I saw a beautiful baby boy
With dark brown hair
Chubby little cheeks
With a sweet innocent stare

As you started to open your eyes
I began to smile with joy
You had the darkest blue eyes
Of a newly born little boy

You were welcomed into this world
With open arms
You were blessed with wonderful parents
To which will cause no harm

You have two older sisters
That just couldn't wait
We kept waiting for mommy
To give us the date

A miracle waiting to happen
You finally came
Born in June
Nothing will ever be the same

I love to hold you tightly
In my arms
Rocking you back and forth
Keeping you away from harm

Hearing your cries
When you get scared
Causes me to worry
It's like our pain is shared

When you cry
I'm there by your side
When you cry
Your parents won't let their love be denied

As you grow older
I know things will change
But as of right now
Things will be the same

We rock you in our arms...
Until you fall asleep
We listen to you cry...
When its time to eat

We change your nasty diapers...
Which I don't enjoy
But I do it all for you...
Because your still a little boy

As you grow older
Things will be different
But you'll always be a miracle
In sweet existence.
