Writing I love you in the Past-there's no future my love-

by ..::.alreadyGoNe..::.   Jul 6, 2005

I write i love you in the sand
then the wind will gently blow it away
to wherever it feels
depositing the grains somewhere far away
where love isn't possible
i slit my wrists, and write i love you on the walls
dripping red on the floor
leaving stains of pain and hate
behind where no one shall tread
where they'll find my cold dead body among the crimson walls
i pick up the chalk and write i love you on the board
using my lips to smear it away
leaving pink dust behind as the only reminder
of what was supposed to be
i make the sticks form letters
and i light them on fire
and from far up into the icy sky
you can see i love you
burning away silently in the still solitude of night
it slowly dies down until only smoke remains
floating like a lost soul through the burnt crispy forest
and slowly with time i shall go down too
where no one will care
that i have gone
away into the time
where only blank pages will tell of my brutal past
and everything that dwell-ed there
waiting to burst from the cocoon to grow beautifully in the morning sun
my sparkling blue eyes tell all
as they start to cloud
and my lips form three words
as my back breaks from this lead heart
-i love you-
my moist lips come together letting no more lies slip
for i never had the chance to love you
because you never would let me
all breath leaves me
gasping and sputtering
trying to make the words into sound
but they never make it...
