You called me from the hospital And told me to come quick Something bad had happened You sounded very sick I rushed to the hospital As quick as I could I went to your room And stood there in shock You were wrapped in bloody bandages From you head to your toe You told me to come near There was something I had to know I sat by your bed My mind in a daze From the few words you said My brother is dead I stood up in shock With things racing through my mind What I really wanted to know Is what really happened that day This is where the story really begins It was about 12 o’clock He and his brother Went to the back road To race their motorcycles It was about 3 o’clock When the accident occurred They hit head on Both flying from their bikes It was a bloody mess The ambulance came And rushed them away There really wasn’t anyone to blame The road was wet And the turns real sharp They made a bet To see who could ride fastest Boy was that a mistake Still to this day The pictures make me squirm Seeing his brother In his death bed he lay.
