Fallen Angel

She is not scared to die
she slowly dies with every lie

back and forth
her thoughts went in her head
her life was hanging on by a single thread

everynight she cried herself to sleep
as she bites her lip she makes a final leap

earlier that day
she silently walked through the halls
not a single word was said
no one knew today an angel falls

all through her life it was always
one step forward and two steps back
happiness was something she always lacked

of course they blame this suicide
on bullying and teasing
social abandonment is the reason she died

no one knew the the truth
they just figured she was a troubled youth

her bruises she would hide
how she got them she always lied

spending every moment crying alone
no one knew she lived in a broken home

she felt like no one cared
to tell everyone the truth she too scared

her family mistreated
her happiness was always defeted

they'll never know the reason why
she died living a lie
