Forever I Could Rest...

So much time has passed
And nothings going right
And I'm very sad to say
That I’ve given up this fight

I just don’t want to live
It’s just a waste of time
And to finally end my life
Would be by far, the perfect crime

I’ve messed up all the good things
In this my so called life
And this is now the reason
Why I'm tempted by the knife

Oh please just let me die
That’s all that I would ask
Cause I just cannot keep living
Wearing this stupid mask

This mask is what protects me
For its always sure to smile
And it always makes you think
That this life is so worthwhile

I know that you’ll soon realize
That this is for the best
And for once id have no pain
And forever I could rest
