The day has finally ended
Perfect and splendid
A moment within me
As I go down on one knee

"Will you marry me, my love?"
As she nods and looks above
Raindrops fall from the sky
Petals fall from up high

We kiss in a pool of roses
Like two eskimos we rubbed noses
Soaring higher and higher
As my heart burns in desire

Our touch, your special smile
As I take her hand down the aisle
She says the two words "I do"
I whisper into her ear "I love you"

Into the crowd a bouquet
Caught by the dozen girls
We dance the night away
With twists and twirls

Only on our wedding day
Can you feel something like this
Unconditional feelings for another
That true love does exist :)
