Slipping Through the Hour Glass

by ..::.alreadyGoNe..::.   Jul 6, 2005

The time slips by
i watch the clocks merciless ticking
why wont it stop?
i hunch over and start to cry

i want all time to stop
frozen in a window
where i shall rest forever
waiting for the hand to drop

to signal all peace with love and hate
sitting in the darkness of night
pain coursing through my veins
nothing else can begin to relate

where is the end of the earth?
i want to start over there
pressing the rewind button harshly
what am i really worth?

to you
to me?
what am i to be?

**yeah i know it's not the longest of poems but hey**

this is good, short but awesome...i like the whole idea of stopping time, just to rest, and wishing you could start over,...the end question is something i think about all the time...what am i really worth..
