Exactly. it's a metaphor. The punctures in the heart and back for example....refer to having your heart broken and someone backstabbing you. Glad you got it! |

I take this as being about war and our daily struggle. Very well put together and it shows that you thought about it and didn't rush it. Beautifully written. I can't pick a favorite line as I love the whole poem. Perfect piece in my eyes!! Excellent write!! :) |
