A Mother's Prayer

by Thrisa Allworth   Jul 6, 2005

Let me be patient,
let me be kind,
let me understand,
without being blind,

let me protect,
let me guide,
let me lead,
without having to hide,

Let me be truthful,
I don't want to lie,
let me be open,
so no one will cry,

let me be woman,
let me give birth,
let me raise and love,
to protect home and hearth.
