The Darkest Night

by Alayna Marie   Jul 6, 2005

I wait and bleed,
Even though I no I don’t need it to succeed,
But the pain is so addicting,
But I sit here waiting,
Waiting,
Waiting, to see the blood trickle down,
Like a snake in the words or the desert,
It’s deadly,
But so alluring,
It seems so assuring,
Like it will take away emotional pain,
That I can’t get out of,
It’s like I’m trapped,
I can’t get out,
It seems like IM in a clear box,
Full of water,
Water,
So clam,
So silent,
Yet so deadly at the same time,
It amazes me
That something,
So simple,
Could have so much power,
That it could weld a soul into eternal darkest,
And into their last hour,
So I sit here saying to the innocent with troubles,
Do not fall into the darkest light,
But look to the brightest bright.
