Why won't these feelings go away?
Why do I still think about you?
When I know I can't have you
Why is all I ask
I know we'll never be
That is why I don't confess what I truly believe
If I confess will you welcome me with open arms and a kiss?
Or walk away with my heart in your hands?
All I ask for
Is a day when I don't ask why
A day when you're not on my mind
