The Boy Inside

by Danielle   Jul 7, 2005

"God, why won't you hear my prayers?" the boy asks with the broken scowl. His eyes gleam in the moonlight. The twilight falls on his face, giving him a dreary expression. "Please God. Where is he?" His father is gone and that's why he's on the heels of death. It's written all over his face. He feels so silted there with no one to tell him they care or for sympathy when needed most. He acts like no one knows him, invisible. He pretends in such a unique way, you barely can tell it's that little boy that he hides.
