I Give To You

by Amber   Jul 7, 2005

I give , shell out, and supply.
You take, hold back, and deny.
The weak knees i have for you,
so undoubted and so true.

You humor, you curb, you deprive.
Should I let my real endearments hide?
Can you grasp what i give to you?
Is practicality something you subdue?

I wait and delay again.
Seems as my desire is my only friend.
What is it that you hold near?
is it resentment that you fear?

I would be your queen so near by your side,
and you could ride the sky's not driven by your pride.
Can you give up and open up the wall?
You don't have to stand so proud and so tall.

Just give yourself,
that's all I need.
Nothing else,
is that so hard to believe?

I could be your earth your fire your wind.
I could set you free from all your nonsense.
In my humble love you'll find anew,
to give up your resistance is all i ask of you.

Imagine what is like to just be free.
I wont change you you wont fear me.
Just take off your disguise,
so you can see.

Open your eyes its all so clear.
I couldn't be more sincere.
Let your intuition by your guide,
and in my giving arms you will confide.
I will give to you.
