Amorphous solidity

by BlackRose   Jul 7, 2005

Contiguous
abutting in love
give in to the zephyr
let the wind erase us
I will be your armor
ebony sky
ivory moon
circinate and infinite
mantle laid down
upon it we rest
into the pools of wonder
I gaze
oculus of my own soul
nous, physique, individuality
unite
in our demise
gems of wisdom
glitter, gleam, glisten and shine
our amour will survive
the tempest of time
from whence it came
so shall it return
angst
I feel the lack of your prescience
the void in my mettle
but strive I shall
provide I must
for you
and I
and what we
will create
life
ours alone

Oh my... I am sorry I didn't realise you had posted another poem!
This is beautiful. It's sorrowful, it's sophisticated. I love the disjointed feel- something you have mastered throughout your poetry. You have a defined style, it is a joy to read.
    "I gaze
    oculus of my own soul
    nous, physique, individuality
    unite
    in our demise
    gems of wisdom"
Gorgeous. The love catagory fits this; it's a love poem, graceful yet melancholy.
I truly admire and love your work. So keep writing.
