Eyes of Hurt

A pain tears across the heart
ripping it apart

The only way to see this is through a persons eyes
The person says they are OK but, it's only told through lies

Day by Day goes and no one can tell
That this person is not doing so well

He hurts so much inside
His soul and heart has already died

He does every day what he must but he has been hurt so much that there is no one he can trust

All you can see are his eyes of hurt
cause all through his life he has been treated like dirt

He hopes that this one girl won't give him the pain
If she does he might as well go insane

To the lord this boy prays
That this is the girl that stays

There is one reason why this boy is not free
It's because this boy is living inside of me
