A lost life

by Chelsea   Jul 7, 2005

A lost face
A returning voice
Running to find a sense, to make a right choice
A forgotten memory
A lost soul
Reaching up for a hand, pushed down, never enough, is what I’m told
Standing still, like a statue in rain
Waiting for this life to unfold
Feelings stirring, as if there’s nothing to loose but nothing to gain
A remembered laugh
A regained tear
Crossing out, one vanished fear
Hesitation takes over, waiting to put its self in gear
Still I hate facing my self in a mirror
Random words take over my head
Laughing, spinning, twirling, wishing to be dead
Forcing everything, forcing a person
The force gets hemorrhaged into remorse
Keeps on getting worse and worse
Until finally
It becomes...
A lost life.
