Untitled (4)

I can’t do this anymore
Trying to protect you at the cost of myself
I’ve died inside, and you can’t see
Why do you insist on being blind?
Why do you insist I haven’t been bound?

I lie on the floor; blind folded and gagged
I scream the top of my lungs
And my fear of dying
Is exceeded only by my fear of living
Why do insist on being deaf?
Mom, why do you insist on being deaf?
