How to be Perfect

To be perfect...

pretend you have no fears
ignore all the bad
don't let them see your tears
never feel remotely sad

put aside your pride
always wear a smile
don't show bad emotions
don't say anything vile

just hide the pain
and pretend
fool them all
even your best friend

abide the rules
never brake a law
pretend for a moment
that your life has no flaw

then in the dark
kick and scream
let it all out
don't dare to dream

when you're alone
and no one is in sight
you can cry for your pain
in the shadows of the night

then in the morning
at the first sign of light
your life is once again perfect
all is right

be very happy
never show anger
don't let them find out
and there will be no danger

you are the child
with no emotion
you are more than perfect
you are everyones notion

always remember
they cant ever know
that you aren't what they think
so go on with the show...
