Pain of Love

by Weeping Wolf   Jul 8, 2005

Liquid Diamonds I've cried
But they mean no worth to me
Let the caged bird mourn its life away
Let my tears fall in the rain
I am lost and fallen once again
Deep inside the mystery i see
In the reflection of the mirror
That cast the shadow on my eyes
A labyrinth lives within them
I am trapped by my own stare

True blackness covers my soul now
Real darkness has unraveled the truth
Jealousy screams to fight back
but my mind is clinging to friendship.

I see a sign that shows my ending
White doves florescent fly high
Above the church to heaven
Then my ears cringe as the wedding bells ring
For they are not for me.

Knowing i once had him,
Disbelieving he left for another.
One he knew before, that had left him.
I took him under my wing and loved him
I thought he did the same for me
but he was only waiting and hoping
for her return.

They say "i do" To each other
And i am the one left on the side
They wanted me to be there
Torture for me they do not know
Wedding chorus sings new love
My heart sings pain and sorrow
Forever on the outside of the world
I stay.

They smile, n walk out of the church
I walk opposite into the grave.
Never again will i love...never again
Will i live.

So love is pain, pain is love
Its to painful to have love
for love is just too painful
So set me free from my agony.
The free bird Sings its life away.
