We had all that we wanted,
& we had it all figured out.
All the plans we made-
all the promises we'd kept.
There was no doubt in my mind
that you loved me,
like I loved you.
It was like the perfect movie.
With characters so in love-
casted with the two people who
thought they knew what that
four letter word really meant.
And just like un-expected relatives-
she came.
And just like that,
she brought down every scene
that had so much work put into.
She proved that maybe one of the
actors wasn't good enough to be in
this movie.
That the main character- wasn't satisfied,
that he needed more than he was getting.
Like walking alone in the worst of weather-
things turned into, "I'm so glad we're
together" VS. "How could you do this?".
Suddenly-
all that was believed to be true,
was over shadowed by
secrets and overwhelming
lies. & everything felt
so wrong & no one would ever
be able to make things feel like
they did before.
