Mummy, dearest.

by Sarah   Jul 8, 2005

When I was young I did not realize what I put you through.
And as I grow up, into the person you wanted me to be,
I see that you only ever wanted the best for me,
All the times you hurt me were out of love,
Well most of them, anyway.

Mum, through all our fights and arguments, I never stopped loving you.
Even when I said “I hate you”, you knew I lied.
Thank you for never doubting that I could do anything.
For understanding what I was too stupid to see.
And the all the times you forgave me.

I wrote this thinking of my mother. Why I am dedicating it to all the mums out there. Except for mine, because she is a b#$@&!!!
Didn't you raise me well, you old cow? Lmfao
