it's like telling a lie,
that i fake a smile,
every time you pass by,

you know it's weird,
it's like something un real,
that when i can't have you,
i truly can't feel,

you know it's depressing,
it's like a said dark tail,
that when i look at us,
my love did anything but fail,

you know it's tragic,
it's like losing something,
that when i'm see though you,
your feeling nothing,

you know it's a dream,
it's like when things go wrong,
and i grab for your had,
but i can't stay strong,

you know it's pointless,
like it could never be done,
