Wot is humanity?

Sitting here alone, its wot i wanted.
or did i?
now i come to think of it i wish i didn\'t have to be.
too bad i am.
guess i got what i wanted.
but i suppose thats human nature, want something then when you get it, its not what you want.
in reality can humanity ever be settled?
or is it meant to be this way?
free will our blessing yet our curse?
