Darkness...
Is all I see before me,
Is all I see behind me,
Maybe all I'll ever see.
Darkness...
has crowded all around me,
has stolen most life from me,
has taken light from me.
Darkness...
has mostly won my soul,
has almost killed me fully
but will never take me whole
Darkness...
has never won this battle,
