She was all alone

A smile that was once there has faded.
She's all alone.
Without friends and family or even God.
For she has tried to kill herself,
but no one cares to ask why.
She lives in a world that couldn't possibly be fit for anyone.
She just stares out her window looking at the rain.
Wishing she could just leave this world behind.
No one has ever tried to stop her,
they just criticize her and tell her not to ever do it again.
But life has no meaning for her.
She just wants to go.
She has decided to leave.
She takes the gun from behind her pillow.
She points it to her head.
She cries for a little while struggling with the thought of pulling the trigger.
Then without realizing what she had done, she pulled the trigger.
No one was there.
She was all alone.
