Living a Lie

by A.Hill   Jul 8, 2005

As the days grow shorter,
And the nights grow longer,
My heart seems weaker
And your lies become stronger.

The seasons never change,
but the months pass by,
And I think to myself
"I'm living a lie."

When you whisper "I love you"
I break down and cry,
Because you once again
Told me a lie.

I feel so many tears
Because your "I love you" was a lie
You continually hurt me.
My streaming tears are never dry.
