Forget About

by A.Hill   Jul 8, 2005

Gladys was right,
Because out of you and I,
Neither one of us
Wants to say goodbye.
But you left anyway
On that midnight train.
Headed toward Georgia,
Leaving me with pain.

I thought I was your woman
And you were my man.
I cared for you so much,
And loved you the best I can.
You had the strength
To walk out my door.
Now I have to move on,
And forget about before.
