You are my best friend
and we will be together to the end

You were always there for me
You were always the person I longed to be

No matter how mean or unfair I was
You stood beside me just 'cause

I had a rough time at home
The only thig you could do was listen for hours on the phone

I threaten suicide
Even then you stuck by my side

You got me through
Even when I turned to drugs and boos

You listened and listened and told me you cared,
Only now do I realize I was being so unfair.

Although I can never quite repay you,
There is something I musy do,
And that is to give a simple but meaningful THANK YOU.
