Our chilhood has been taken away

by Morgan   Jul 9, 2005

Our childhood has been taken away from us
And has been replaced with all this fuss
Fuss about friends and dates
This whole world full of hate
Problems between groups of friends
Who swore to be together till the end
Coming to school, eyes red from crying
True friends always prying
No one knew exactly what to do
And no one knew exactly who
Who used to and who still does play
With self harm as a get away
We all had our fights
Thanks to all those sleepless nights
We talked to each other as *******
When we felt down in the ditches
On our foreheads, it should have said handle with care
For anything that happened, we complained it wasn\'t’t fair
We all had good days and bad days
But the good days were not enough to pay
For all the crap we went through on the awful days
I wish it could have been different, but im sorry to say
There were few who escaped the problems
We faced each and every day

So this is a poem I wrote about my class that was faced with depression and self harm this year….please rate and comment.
