Innocent Deception

by AGirlWorthFightingFor   Jul 9, 2005

Disarmed and disarranged
by one so young
Assumed naive
She came on so innocent
so polite
so Christian

Believe yourself
the Prince Charming
come to rescue her
Locked away in her dark tower
so sheltered

Believe you can be
the knight to slay her dragon
believe you can open her mind
to your whole new world

Foolish mortal
You are the weakest link
Mankind dislikes old boys
only L. Ron Hubbard and his clones
want you now

Trust the flower
but you were so unaware
Didn't notice the serpent
slithering under you
Innocent princess deceived you
Your deceptive intentions
childlike by comparison

She lead you to believe
you could be together
then she did a 180
Now you're in the dark forever

You did everything for her
You slay your own dragon for her
after you slay hers
You're a dragon killer
but you're nobody's hero
and only a comical villain

True villain
The girl who deceived you
The one who promised to always be true
but you never were
and while you enjoyed her
she destroyed you

You thought
she would just give it up
but you're just
not good enough
Believe that girls are the dolls
mommy bought for you
Delicate china, porcelain skin
Believe she could break so easily
but she was already broken
and hardened

You become
the naive, gullible one of a kind doll
who must figure
you will never see anymore action
Lose your identity
Passed around for every consumer
in prison or for Satan alone

lead on
sold out

Bought and used her
Seduced and screwed her
Charge you with murder
Raped by the system
she works in
You were never meant to be
part of her world.

Frickin awesome. Great poem, I especially like the reference to L Ron Hubbard and his clones. Tom Cruise is one of them. HAHA
