I saw you

It was the first time i saw you in two months
i was with a bunch of friends at a party in your town
you were with a bunch of your friends too

i was having fun, being myself
then i caught you looking at me and you quickly looked away . . .
i didn't let you get to me though
i keep doing my thing

later on i walked past you and your friends
your friends must of like what he seen so he tried saying 'what up'

i never thought you'd get so mad
i smiled to myself and and replied the same back an kept going

a little while later you came to talk to me
you didn't like all the attention i was getting form your friends huh?
must of made you a little jealous because you said you were sorry an you missed me
that you never knew what you had lost until you saw me in front of your boys

well baby i gotta reality check for you tonight
i never thought that i had gotten over you until i saw you here tonight . . .

if only i say to you
if only you came back to me sooner
i would of opened my arms and kissed you hello

but we cant change the past now can we?
