My Point Of No Return

by Lydie   Jul 9, 2005

I've reached the point,
Of no return,
So much more,
I've yet to learn,

This point of no return,
Is an unobtrusive black,
When I pass this point,
There's no going back,

But where will it take me?
Where will I go?
So many things,
I want to know,

Why am I here?
How did I convince myself to do this?
But the people behind me,
I'll miss,

But they are half the reason I'm here,
Half the reason I cry,
As I step across the line,
I say goodbye.
