In My Dreams

by Kirsten Jones   Jul 9, 2005

You enter my dreams in full focus
I had sensed you, now I know you
Not ghostly, but real and true
To lay bare the bleeding, needing heart.

Unfurling, uncurling, so sweet
To free your trusting touch
And mine to you, unearthing
While the flower brightly blooms.

On waking, the world is mine for taking
And the possibilities seem endless
As eyes adjust to view a clear horizon
Yet everything looks hazy at the edges.
