Thank You

by Mark Coates   Jul 9, 2005

I never truly believed you loved me
That I convinced myself you weren't real I know you know what I've been
through But why'd you never stop it

I'm sorry I never appreciated you
I am your flesh and blood
I wanna say thank you
For something you don't know about

Dad thanks for your anti-depressants
Dad thanks for your drugs
Dad thanks for your tourniquet
Dad thanks for your knives

You've helped of through a lot
Without even noticing
Which is why I owe you
Can I pay you back when you die aswell

This was written when i loved my dad but now i h8 him cz he h8s me and i cannot forgive myself for ruining his life and my moms

hon, your parents don't hate you...even if it seems like it....and how could you ruin their lives? don't be so hard on yourself....you have to forigive yourself sometime....now i really want to chat, okay? hang in there.
