Disintegrated Pain

by Miss Kay   Jul 9, 2005

I look back at all the memories
Thinking of how I used to feel
My life seemed as that of a tragedy
But on my knees I refused to kneel

I build my strength; it continues to grow
The scars are healing; they're almost hidden
The red blood drops no longer flow
Not looking back is a given

Not a lot in my existence has changed
But there's one think I know have that I didn't before
Yes, the circumstances seemed strange
Somehow I found you and I couldn't want more

You've been there as I was dealing with everything else
You held my hand along with my heart
You cared more about me than even yourself
I knew your love was true from the start

Of all the things I've overcome
The most beautiful of them all
Is the one I couldn't have done
I you would've let me fall

So to you these soft, precious words I tremble
They dare not mislead nor deceive you
Take this from a heart so gently
And may you realize it's true

I love you always and forever
Our souls have found one another at last
Hold on tight, we'll stay together
But let's enjoy this and not go too fast
