My Honest Goodbye

Any words that i will I say to you will sound just like 'goodbye'
but you never really understanding always made me cry.
Dig down deeper, mix the words, do all you possibly can,
find the truth beneath my scars, find out just who I am.

Don't cry for me, don't pity me, this isn't what I need,
i fade away from everybody's selfishness and greed.
They thought that it was funny to make fun and call me names,
but they didn't see the damage caused outside their twisted games.

It happened way too many times to change how i have cracked,
too many times have people told me what I need and lack.
I love you more than anything, I hope you understand,
I've made my choice, i don't regret, i let go of your hand.

Thinking that this world was nothing more than just a lie,
believing in some fantasy i thought was being shy.
I never really understood the ways in which life worked,
i sat in silence watching, as the days passed by and lurked.

I hoped to be a singer or a writer one fine day,
i pushed the other subjects, academics, far away.
The tears that burn your eyes now were in my eyes every night,
you didn't hear my crying for a made no sound till light.

I love you and remember that you did not cause this death,
i sing my wants and wishes with my last and single breath.
Dancing flames and roses float around your dreams for me,
may peace and faith engulf your heart for all eternity.

Sing the songs i never wrote and say my prayers for me,
dance the dance i never saw and stroke the Atlantic sea.
Act the play i never learned and stroke the wolves i love,
go to the ball i always dreamt that i would be part of.

Darkness corrupted all of me and any goodness left,
the friends i always talked to took my heart, committed theft.
Craving some excitement from a world that never was,
pining for attention or one simple calm applause.

The only thing that kept me for so long was my small hope,
the hill that i was walking up soon turned into a slope.
Sweet kisses, fractured diamonds, holy water, cold July,
please read this through and understand why I have said goodbye.
