Deep Down

Look deep down
Beneath your heart.
It’s where you began
From the very start.

It’s a little bit of nothing,
But quite a lot.
It fills you from the bottom
To the very top.

It’s weak but strong,
Small, but big,
It’s something
You just can’t give.

It can’t be taken.
It can’t be shown.
We all should have it,
Though we might find it a drone.

It’s who we are,
And that we can’t change.
So just look deep down.
There it should glaze.
