Elves

by Michael D Nalley   Jul 10, 2005

A little elf in a mushroom smoked weed
Where fairytales filled his every need
There no power is greater than his self
He needs no fairies, nor any other elf

His tiny little peepers peep
Where tiny little leapers leap
Praying for a princesses kiss
In the forest of eternal bliss

In the dreams of those who sleep
While science takes a quantum leap
The Tree of Life grows where the soul never dies
Where Truth is the answer and we only question lies

Deep in meaning and excellent write. As I was reading this one, the portrayal of the fantasy land is strikingly well-detailed. A 5/5.

Not sure I understand this one, but good nonetheless...I especially liked the last stanza.
