The Funeral

by Rozzy   Jul 10, 2005

Dressed in black from head to toe
Ready to show my respect for this person i love very much so

I confess my apologies and sympathies to the family that lost a brother and son
The story is he was just a BIT depressed and had decided to end his life on his birthday with his fathers gun

I walk forward to this man who hides behind a collar
I said "hello" and decided to tell him a piece of the story The part about the boy and his step father

No one knew that i knew the truth
Of this boy My friend and of what he was forced to do

For i was there and i saw it all
From the beginning to the part were he stook the barrel in his mouth and blew his brains through to the wall

After talking to the "man of God" and pleased to see his shock
I took a step up to my friends coffin and began to talk

"Why didn't you wait for me? Why didn't you let me come with you?"
Of course he doesn't answer He always was the silent type from most of his families point of view

I look at his face His hair His mouth and nose
He looks...awful! I know he would have hated the way he looked Especially in those clothes

I touch his cheek with a smile
Then i frown from the memory of asking him to wait for me to leave with him from our place of exile

I look at his sleeves I wish i could tear them up and show his family his pain
Show them what they did to him How they killed him And why he chose to die in vain

The dosage is taking over I'll be with him soon enough
I have to follow him for with out him I'm f**ked

I stick my fist in my mouth to muffle my scream
For the pain shot right to my heart

Just him and me

Finally we can sleep
Free from the explicit pain

Gone from a living death
Finally free
