I lift my head
I open my eyes
My body so limp
So drowsy and weak
I just woke from sleep
Rub my eyes
The dizziness dies
My stomach cries
I take a shower
Then get dressed
Wash my face
I don't look my best
Dark brown circles under eyes
What happened last night I do not recall to surprise
I don't drink
I don't do drugs
But my memory loss
Is drivin' me nuts
I go down stairs and eat some food
The sun I see does hurt my eyes
Just like all those silly lies

and the truth you wont tell
Why I think of this now I don't know
So I go over to the phone
Dial your number the phone rings and your there
I say "Hello."
And you ask "Who's there?"
"It's me. I was wondering about last night. What happened?" I ask
And you seem surprised
"You don't remember?"
"I can't recall a thing."
But you say nothing
But I know it's not a dream.
