Would god leave with lost faith?

Let us bow our heads in prayer
and gently fold our hands
as we raise our hearts to god
causing a cry throughout the land

we live in a world of suffering
full of anguish and pain
our eyes stare at the sky
as escaped tears fall like rain

how did it come to this
so many people who've lost their lives
with ever breath i take
there is someone else who dies

so many claim you've left us
as they've all ceased to believe
if you were truly there
then why weren't their hearts relieved

how could you allow
so much hate and fear
it hardened our hearts
and caused crimson tears

there are so many out there
waiting for you to set them free
but god, what would happen
if you truly ceased to be

would the world turn chaotic
though i doubt anyone would care
would our lives be turned upside down
if you were no longer there

now the thought that scares me the most
is wondering if it's true
that you've already abandoned us
because we've all lost faith in you

    Yup. I totally agree with this one because the world today seems as though there is no room for the simple concept of peace. It's sad to say but also true. So I guess my suggestion for others is to get to saving and sharing ur faith because time is ticking. Many are scared, sad, rebellious, hurt or whatever. They NEED to be saved! I was once told that if u have an opportunity to share w/ sumone who does not know Christ then their blood is in ur hands. I think it's about that time to wake up and realize the purpose of life. I dont mean to make it sound as if I'm preaching to u but I dig ur mindstate girl! stay leveled.

    It i written that god will never leave us nor forsake us. he doesnt cause the pain and anguish we have. he doesnt cause our life to be hell. he may allow it to happen though. why? so that he may be glorified. so that people may see that without him, there is nothing. People dont think hes around because they have no faith.religon is all about faith. buddists, catholics, mormons, jehova witness' they all believe in a god they havent seen. so what do we do? sit back and let the world turn? i chose to believe there is a god. he died for our sins. but it isnt that he sees thoseof you who arent saved a bunch of sinners, but rather "lost sheep" for he is our shepard. but this is nothing to contridict what you say i appreciate all your poetry its beautiful. i just answer you in what is the truth nothing to embarress or humiliate. just healthy criticism. i love your work

    ok great poem very emotional and meanigfull
    but never ever lose faith in God..he lets us cry etc..to make us stronger..and he wont ever put anythingin ur life that u cant handle
