Pain In A Glass

by eternal rest   Jul 11, 2005

Order me some Pain in a glass.
For I’ve never known a pain so great.
So concentrated.
A pin-pointed agony
From this deadly liquid.

As I pour
I fall to my knees
Intoxicated by the anguish.
Ecstasy engulfs me
As the flood inside drains.

Looking in the mirror,
I know that I’ve done wrong.
But it was either this,
Or the belt again.

All the others,
Were about the blood.
But this, my friend,
Is purely pain.
