The Perfect Picture

Holding your hoody close to me,
Taking in the scent of you.
Images of us together in my mind,
Together, we seem so right.
Listening to love songs,
Reminds me of you,
The tears in my eyes fall,
But these tears are tears of joy,
As I realize that I love you.
Admiring your pictures on my wall and my bedside,
Each one making me smile,
Each one making my body tingle.
I know we're still young,
Too young to fall people may say,
But I've never felt this love before,
Never felt these feelings inside.
We've been together so long,
I don't ever want you to go.
When the sun sets every day,
When I'm lying in my bed and I can't sleep,
I imagine you next to me,
With me in your arms.
Feeling so incomplete without you near,
When I am, the time passes us by.
Ever since you entered my life,
I've felt more alive.
My heart now feels whole,
The missing piece of my puzzle,
Now complete.
Imagining spending my life with you,
What we would be like as husband and wife,
If we'd make good parents to our kids.
We've been told by many that we look good together,
A cute couple some have said,
I have to agree,
Because I believe that you and me,
We are the perfect picture.
