A Single Black Rose

by cowgirlstar26   Jul 11, 2005

A single black rose lays on the floor
Where you used to come in then shut the door

A single black rose lays inside my room where I gave everything to you.

A single black rose lays in the desert where in the summer night heat I felt your heart beat

A single black rose marks the good times we had
now a single black rose marks everything that's sad

A single Black rose with It's beautiful darkness
Marks the begining of all my sadness

A single Black rose begins to slowly die as I lay down to sleep slowly so do I

A withered Black rose rejects all help
for it deny's anyone a chance to be felt

A single black rose peirces flesh with it's thorns
will this pain continue like the pain from which I was born.

Like my single black rose with beauty and grace I will slowly fade away till all beauty's gone from my face.

Inspiringly well done, the last two lines verge on brilliance.
