If I was granted a single wish
to use in any way,
I wouldn't wish for glamour and fame
or money that could pay.
Some people might wish for a car,
or a thousand pairs of shoes.
But my one wish would be best used
if I spent it on you.
I'd wish for you great success
in all you try to achieve.
Perseverance is a virtue;
I n yourself, always believe.
I'd wish for you patience
in every situation.
Don't go and quit when things get tough;
In turn, show motivation.
I'd wish for your well-being;
If you can no longer stand,
I hope either I, or someone will be there
to offer a helping hand.
I'd wish for you endless faith,
know what's false and true.
Question the world surrounding,
but your knowledge, don’t subdue.
I'd wish you love throughout your life,
even if it's not with me.
May passion wrap you in it's arms
and never let you free.
Lastly, I'd wish you happiness,
to last you through the years.
If ever you do cry,
I pray they'll be joyful tears.
I know in order to take the next step,
you have to go away.
But more than anything, I love you,
and I wish you'd stay.....
I love him. All I want is for him to happy, no matter what or where that happiness may be. I can't explain how elated I am for him......But is it selfish for a little part of me to want him to stay?
